10 – While at the end of High School, I applied for the three years diploma program in fashion designing in NIFT but didn’t fare well in the final interview process. Hence, had to continue with higher studies.

9 – Even before watching the movie Motor Cycle Diaries, I have always aspired to travel the length and breadth of India, meet the real people, join with local organizations, spend a month or two in each place, take classes, etc. Probably, in another 5 years down the line, you can find me in some corner tea shop in the remotest part of India.

8 – Children – I had a wonderful time interacting with them, taking tuitions or having local tours 2-3 years ago. Needs to allocate considerable amount of time in coming days.

7 – In the early 2001, I realized that I am not the right kind of guy for a hard-core graphic design. Thats how I happened to move away from core graphical design into scientific based ‘Usability‘ and ‘Marketing‘ areas. I am happy today I made one of the right career move.

6 – From my early days, I was curious to know what makes great people do great things while the rest speaks of their greatness. I am still trying to figure out the mindsets of people. Hope my M.Sc. Psychology helps me to unearth certain secrets.

5 – I am obsessed with books. I can’t resist the temptation of buying or flipping through books especially related to psychology, management and marketing subjects. You can find me frequently in British Councel, Chennai.

4 – These days, my mind constantly ask me ‘Why can’t you have the same guts as Che Guevara and make a difference felt in some way? Instead of avoiding the responsibility with excuses.’

3 – I believe in people rather than religion/god. So in a way you can call me an Atheist, Rationalist or Humanistic, whatever that pleases you. :-)

2 – Took a 10 days residential program for Vipassana meditation at the Dhamma Hall in Chennai. Must say it was one of the truly satisfying experience to discover and connect with oneself.

1 – I am more obsessed with Movies next to computers. I instantly get thrilled at the sight of Clint Eastwood and lately, I am into Johny Depp’s acting.

An interesting post on Best Practices for SEO Urls in Building CMS in SearchEngineWatch forum. Its very important that developers consider the following checklist before they plan on their next CMS sofware.

Keywords in URL’s
Use the title tag or the page name when creating urls automatically.

Stop Characters
Google/other search engines limits their indexing when they find specifica variables such as ? & =. Better to avoid these characters and produce a url that is readable both for users as well as search engines.

URL Readability
Use hyphens (-) when you join two words in the url and make sure that it is in lowercase. Also, in comparison with underscores (_), search engines prefer hyphens a lot.

Session Id’s and Cookies
Google Spiders do not accept cookies and sessions for many reasons including duplicant content issues.
